The item is lovely. However, my friend has yet to receive it. Long after her father passed 2 weeks ago. Was initially told it would be delivered in 3 days, now it will closer to 3 weeks. Unfortunately the timely sentiment has been lost

We want to clarify that shipping to Alaska typically takes significantly longer than standard U.S. domestic shipping, and our website and policy do not guarantee 3-day delivery, particularly with free shipping options. Your package was shipped the same day the order was placed, and any delays in transit were entirely due to carrier delays, which unfortunately are out of our control once the package leaves our hands.
